The Union of Mogadishu University Students-UMUS represents the voice of the student body, fostering a vibrant campus life and ensuring that the needs and interests of students are addressed. We are dedicated to promoting academic excellence, cultural diversity, and social responsibility among our members.

Mission

To empower the students of Mogadishu University by providing a platform for leadership, advocacy, and service. We strive to enhance the educational experience through active participation in campus life, community involvement, and the development of programs that support student success and well-being.

Vision

To be a transformative and influential body within the university and the broader community. We aim to inspire students to be proactive leaders and change-makers, equipped to contribute positively to society and the world at large.

Objectives

• To effectively represent the interests of all students at university governance levels and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
• Support Services: To provide comprehensive support services that enhance students’ academic and personal development.
• To increase student engagement through organizing events, workshops, and initiatives that cater to a wide range of interests and promote a sense of community.
